Business Process Mapping Consultant

Job Description

Immediate need for a Business Consultant within payments at a large financial client in the Charlotte market.


Scope of job:
Will be working in PVSI within the consumer payments space supporting the following products, Bill Pay, Direct Pay, Zelle.

There will be 3 main functions of this role:

1. Business Process Mapping for payments products-

a. Will take lead on this effort
b. Will examine every function that the business does and map it to what system is used and what team is involved whether the process is automated or manual.

2. Helping with audit requests from risk partners-

a. Requests will be coming from an internal audit team who owns the audit from an enterprise level.
b. This new hire will take direction from the enterprise audit person. The new hire will take the incoming request and get with the appropriate people on the payments team to get the questions answered.
c. Will delegate tasks and ensure that a satisfactory response is given back to the auditor.
d. Will be figuring out, Who is responsible for what questions relative to the audit. Will be getting the answers and keeping track of that. Requests and timelines may have been given to Wells by the CFPB, or OCC.
e. Audits are going on now and they are at the tail end. If additional audits come up, this person will run with it.
f. The new hire is just coordinating, working with product managers, operations and technology
g. Audit items are largely around control

3. Preparing PowerPoint Presentations outlining this teams payments products to be presented to Executive Leadership.


a. Will be preparing PowerPoint presentations which will describe the details of this teams payments products.
b. Will be presenting metrics on the bank's performance vs. competitors and past years performance

Must have:
* Hands on project management on business side. Need to be hands on, not just a box checker
* Business Process Mapping exp.
* Payments is a must
* Strong PowerPoint skills
* Strong Excel skills
* Visio for business process mapping

Nice to have:
* Someone with prior exp. in the Big 4 consulting space (Accenture, PWC, Deloitte, E&Y) or companies like North Highland, Levvel, Exervio.
