Business Development Manager

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager is a high-energy individual who will contact and qualify marketing-generated leads and prospective customers in the US market.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new accounts of corporate clients and federal government in the United States market through calls, emails and other channels

Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities for business growth

Generate revenue opportunities through new ventures, partnerships and strategic alliances

Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

Develop and implement marketing strategies and prepare sales proposals

Develop quotes and proposals

Use analytics and ensure to comply with target sales

Successfully execute the sales process for all opportunities

Comply with monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotes

Understand the key business drivers within an organization

Conducting weekly BD meetings with corporate leadership team to review and defend pipeline

Build corporate network and overall exposure.

Maintain fruitful relationships with customers

Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

Prepare Power point presentations and sales displays

Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company?s products

REQUIRED SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
Bachelor degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing

Five or more years of work experience in Corporate Sales

Demonstrated experience in managing the sales cycle including prospecting, proposing, and closing

Demonstrate ability to think strategically and analytically in new opportunities

Self-starter with strong technical knowledge and superior customer relations skills, required.

Ability to multi-task (juggle duties effectively) and ability to work in a team environment essential; demonstrate professionalism.

Strong persuasive skills.

Willing attitude to learn and receive feedback.

Flexible and capable to follow instructions.

Excellent customer service and communication skills; written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Attentive to detail, organized and have an urgent sense to respond.

Must work well under pressure and be a self-starter, problem-solver, proactive thinker and team player.

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)

Proven project and time management skills.

Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism.

Experience with CRM

Ability to travel.

Fully bilingual (speaking and writing)
