We are seeking a Business Development Director to join the team. As directed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and in collaboration with other agency Directors, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing key strategic healthcare value initiatives that drive business growth. Areas of focus include integrated delivery operations; development and implementation of service lines and care delivery in existing and contiguous markets; growth of existing targeted services; identification, evaluation and launching of new business opportunities; and development of new services initiatives and integrated delivery operations.



This is a full-time position with benefits, including paid vacation, sick and holiday, health insurance and 401(k) with employer match. TTC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC) is a full-service behavioral healthcare organization that provides high quality, cost-effective substance use and mental health treatment to adults and youth. TTC operates a psychiatric hospital engaged in detox and stabilization (this is not a locked facility), residential and outpatient alcohol and drug treatment centers, adolescent drug treatment centers and family medical clinics. All patients served are voluntary. All facilities are licensed and certified by the State of California and the County of Los Angeles. We are accredited by The Joint Commission. Since 1972, we have provided a comprehensive continuum of healthcare services.



Job Requirements



This position will play a key role in new business development/sales and managing client relationships and is responsible for establishing and nourishing relationships with new and existing clients to grow our agency business. The focus will be communication with both external clients and the internal management/leadership team.



Requirements


●  Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience


●  2-4+ years of business development or sales experience in the healthcare field; background in behavioral health and integrated care with knowledge of value-based reimbursement models preferred


●  Experience prospecting and closing business/managing the


●  Full-cycle sales process


●  Knowledge of health plans for general and behavioral health  


●  Passion for networking and making new business connections


●  Proven track record of success achieving and exceeding metrics and revenue goals


●  Ability to manage a high volume of client accounts simultaneously


●  Eager attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with a competitive enthusiasm
