Billing and Collections Manager

Job Description

Healthcare client in the city of Woodland Hills is seeking for a Medical Billing Manager.

Candidate Must Have:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management
Minimum 2 years of experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center
Experience with managing forecasting, scheduling, and load balancing
Experience with Billing Packet, Billing, Unbilled, Balancing and Payment posting
Experience with Insurance Eligibility and Authorizations
Experience with training and coaching staff
Experience with interviewing candidates and selecting talent according to the needs of the team
Superior customer service skills and orientation
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

JOB SUMMARY:

Present new client analysis and present to prospective clients with Sales team
Manage onboarding of new clients
Lead a rapidly growing billing team to meet or exceed standard industry productivity and efficiency metrics.
Supervise daily/monthly revenue and cash activities to ensure that all payments are posted and that revenues are recorded accurately and timely.
Review daily, weekly and monthly key metrics to identify trends and areas of focus.
Maximize revenue through complete and accurate billing, and strong collection processes.
Develop and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and monthly financial reports.
Identify revenue cycle problems and implement solutions for improvement.
Oversee and manage clearinghouse functions and processes.
Maintain current knowledge of billing requirements, including payor claim requirements
Create and run reports to analyze billing and accounts receivable trends and report on the progress, results, and conclusions reached regarding:
Write-offs or adjustments resulting from payor denials or rejections
Analyze financial and operational data/performance metrics, communicates findings and risks, and makes suggestions to improve processes.

Pay Rate:$60-80K + Benefits

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
