Agronomics Manager

Job Description

As an Agronomics Manager you will manage the IPM, fertilization, and pest control program within a designated territory.  You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with your internal and external clients, manage customized agronomy plans to best suit the needs of your clients, and effectively manage your operations team.



Here’s an overview of what you can expect to do while working here:


§  Manage the day to day operations of a large team of technicians


§  Drive safety initiatives throughout the branch


§  Oversee all compliance related aspects of agronomic applications


§  Ensure proper documentation of all applications


§  Partner closely with other departments to maximize IPM


§  Promote a mentoring environment


§  Manage client relationships on a high level


§  Ensure proper calibration of all spray equipment


§  Oversee the care and maintenance of all equipment


§  Manage all training programs and oversee the development of the agronomic team



Job Requirements



Requirements




§  Minimum 10 years of experience in the commercial landscape maintenance industry




§  Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in agronomy




§  Minimum 3 years of leadership experience




§  Valid Florida Driver’s License




§  Proficient with computer software programs including Word, Excel and Outlook




§  Effective oral and written communication skills




Preferred Skills & Experience




§  Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
