Major automotive Tier 1 is seeking a Quality Manager who will lead a large team of engineers and technicians to investigate and correct customer issues relating to quality.
Supervise the team related to pre-production and production validation, inspection and testing activities to ensure high technical integrity.
Provide technical and statistical expertise.
Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
Maintain active role on internal Kaizen teams.
Use quality problem solving tools for root cause analysis and corrective action.
Visit customers or suppliers as needed.
