Large, Stable Tri-Valley Company Seeks Finance Manager

Compensation: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year

Large, stable organization in the Tri-Valley is seeking a strong Finance Manager to be an integral member of its FP&A group to support the VP of Finance and Director of Operational Finance and FP&A. The Finance Manager will be expected to proactively engage in matters that drive short and long term revenue, margin, & profitability objectives, optimize tactical and strategic resource and investment allocations, and continuously improve process and reporting relevance/efficiency. Position will handle a blend routine and ad hoc work, developing and improving routine analysis and reporting, while supporting ad hoc important special projects that will change frequently. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to make an immediate impact with a lean FP&A team in a high visibility role. Principal responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Consolidating diverse financial content spanning the entire P&L, analyzing and interpreting business results, and communicating key insights through a wide range of reports, analyses, and executive summary packages • Deriving Key Performance Indicators to assess business performance across multiple functional areas, to regularly asses Strategic Initiatives, Revenue Growth Objectives, Risk Mitigation, Opportunity Identification, and ROI • Partnering with various Finance and Non-Finance organizations within the organization, to derive process improvements/efficiencies, ensure accurate financial representation, and improve business transparency to favorably influence decisions and outcomes • Responsible for synthesizing large amounts of information into coherent business interpretations and effectively communicating relevant content across varying levels of management • Direct leadership with regards to successfully generating, consolidating, and implementing Annual Budgets, Quarterly Forecasts, and Monthly/Quarterly Close results • Maintain a culture of accountability among all employees via setting of clear objectives, regular follow-up and coaching, and assessment of final results • Conduct accurate and timely annual performance assessments of subordinates • Conduct supervisory responsibilities such as training in accordance with organizations policies and applicable laws The Company offers a competitive salary and benefit package. Job Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience: • 3-5 years of progressive management experience in a relevant business finance support role, consulting, or related field • 10 years of experience in accounting and analysis • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA will be beneficial • Experience in small and large service based and/or durable medical equipment company preferred • Mature organizational skills with demonstrated ability to proactively lead and execute activities and to affect change • Proven tolerance to ambiguity, demonstrated analytical problem solving capacity, and solid attention to accurately reporting content. • Ability to communicate effectively and interact directly with senior management • Advanced working skill set with MS Office products (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) • Knowledge of FRX, Hyperion Planning, Enterprise Systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, other), or comparable Financial Application
