Finance Manager-Tableau Reporting Coordinator

Responsible for the supervision and documentation of financial reporting and analysis. This role will participate in the design and creation of Tableau dashboards and reports for Executive and Sr. Leadership, SQL database administration efficiency projects, ad hoc accounting and various financial duties. This role will also assist in budgeting. This is an individual contributor role with the potential to expand to front-line management as the team grows. Focuses on coaching, coordination and delegation of operational work responsibilities.

Maintain a SQL database of confidential financial information. Develop and distribute actionable, value-add Tableau reports to Leadership. Analyze actual operating results of each department through the year and compare to monthly forecast and yearly plan and interpret data and presents results to management. Respond to budget related requests for financial data. Perform fiscal and variance analysis on a variety of issues in support of and to facilitate budgetary decision making. Provide additional, ad-hoc financial management reports as needed to management. Facilitate Vendor Management. Perform other finance or administrative support projects and tasks assigned by financial management.




Necessary Skills / Attributes
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Sciences with 5-10 years of directly related experience is required. CPA and/or MBA a plus. Prior experience in accounting reporting and financial modeling required. Prior experience in a global organization is preferred. Must have experience querying and organizing SQL data. Must have experience developing Tableau reports and dashboards. Must have accounting experience utilizing SAP R/3 software. Must have Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with advanced Excel spreadsheet preparation skills. Previous experience in the telecommunications industry a plus.

Ability to communicate in writing, through email, reports, or orally, accounting and financial reporting matters. Ability to independently or as a team member achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications. The ability to perform tasks and work assignments based upon general policies where work results are sometimes monitored. Some analysis is required to make decisions and to determine appropriate courses of action where situations differ and require creativity to search for solutions from among learned experiences. The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects. The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within established time frames.

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional hours beyond normal schedule. Travel <5%. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.
