Job title: Director of Technology Reporting to: President/CEO Salary: • $100K - $110K + Benefits (DOE) • Fully-paid - Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Partial Life • Employer contributed Health Savings Account • 10 days of paid vacation time | 5 days paid sick time • Flexible working hours • Emphasis on a healthy work-life balance in your schedule Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00. Closed weekends. Location: This is an In-house position at our headquarters in Medford, Oregon. We are open to discuss a relocation budget with the selected individual. There will be no traveling involved in your normal day-to-day responsibilities. Purpose of the position As the Director of Technology, you are responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company. You will work closely with the Development team to grow the current and future technological resources of the company. Using an active and practical approach, you will direct the company's operations to attain the strategic goals established in the company's strategic plan. You understand the technology environment, communications, operation and competitive technologies, being aware of emergent trends and keeps the knowledge up to date with current changes and demands of the industry. As a proven leader with strong managerial competencies, you value people and have exceptional human relation skills. You provide vision and leadership for technology and information systems function; plans, organizes and directs the design, development, acquisition and implementation of new and existing technology and information systems to meet current and future technology needs.

Job Requirements

Essential Functions: • Establish the company's technical vision and leads all aspects of the company's technological development. • Direct the company's strategic direction, development and future growth. • Works in a consultative fashion with senior Sales and Media executives to develop applicable technology applications for customers and pricing models for new customer services. • Provide leadership to department heads in a fashion that supports the company's culture, mission and values. • Ensure compliance standards are met and that security procedures and policies are ahead of the curve. Key responsibilities & duties: Duties of the position Time spent Competencies sought Must have or optional (can be trained) Maintain and evolve our web-based applications. 60% - Deep working knowledge and practice of Object Oriented Programming. - Proven ability to interact and execute changes within a pre-existing code base. Must have Contribute ideas at various stages of each project. 30% - Must be able to work in a team environment. - Must be optimistic about the mission and vision of the team and company. - Good organizational skills and immaculate attention to detail. - Proactive with researching and evolving products. Must have Implement best practices for testing and continuous integration. 10% - Basic understanding of development best practices and learned ability to document and test periodically throughout development. Can be trained Academic or trade qualifications • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience • MBA preferred with heavy concentration in the technological side of business. Work experience and skills • Well versed in finance, accounting, and management as well as networking, information security, and systems design.
