Director of eCommerce, $115k a year, (Remote in Tampa/St. Pete)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


• Evaluate effectiveness of current website platforms and recommend changes to drive online sales


• Research site performance to create strategies and manage the execution of the digital marketing efforts


• Full ecommerce P&L responsibilities including revenue plan, gross profit and net income target responsibilities that align with company objectives


• Work with new and existing PPC agencies to budget, implement, track, analyze, and optimize paid search


• Monitor and analyze website with regards to both technical performance and overall user experience


• Drive e-commerce revenue through daily website merchandising, conversion rate optimization and traffic drivers such as SEO


• Create and present performance reports, outlining revenue, consumer audience and website analytics for internal management teams


• Create and/or facilitate the creation of digital marketing assets (i.e. banner ads, email images, product videos, etc.)


• Create and implement campaigns to grow online audiences, website traffic and social media followers


• Research and implement new technologies and applications that provides the best online consumer experience. Implement online tools such as catalogs, newsletters or companywide communication.


• Facilitate content creation and deployment through writers, and other content sources

Education/Experience Requirements:


• BA/BS in business administration, marketing, technology, or related


• Three to five years of proven ecommerce leadership experience


• Experience developing and managing websites on ecommerce platforms


• Preferred experience with integration of multiple websites migrating onto one platform


• Ability to execute online merchandising plans


• Ability to tackle, head-on, website design and programming initiatives, strong understanding of website programming and development creative process


• Ability to analyze, produce and present regular business reporting


• Experience creating, executing and evaluating online marketing campaigns including email, search/SEO, advertising, social media


• Experience with online media buying and campaign analysis


• Process oriented and passion for details, finishing projects with a deadline


• Ability to handle multiple projects at once


• Ability to work independently, handle self-driven projects efficiently


• Highly organized


• Clear and concise communication skills


• Strong skill using Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe suite of design tools)


• Strong knowledge in handling digital image files
