Responsibilities:This entry level position will be a part of a field retail sales and marketing team that is focused on expanding Masonite brand, product awareness and use within the construction community by driving sales through retail channels such as The Home Depot, Lowe's, and Menards. In this account development role, you'll be a product expert and play a critical role in growing business at the stores in your assigned territory while ensuring that Masonite products are properly merchandised and store personnel are well trained. •Execute district, regional, or store level formal training of sales associates, demonstrations and special events, as it relates to Masonite’s products and services.•Conduct daily retail store visits to build and maintain a positive, professional business relationships with retail customer representatives; Serve as a primary point of contact with key customer representatives.•Drive sales of special order and stock products through account development activities. Partner with retail customers to help secure incremental business; Assist with product quotations, when necessary•Implement marketing events within the assigned territory. Provide territory and market information to better develop sales and marketing efforts.•Ensure proper placement & presentation of products, marketing materials, displays and other collateral in an effort to position the Masonite brand within the retail store. Assist in effective execution of product strategy for all customer new stores, remodels, relocations, and resets.•Evaluate, monitor and resolve store and customer service related issues and on a timely basis. Serve as primary liaison to manufacturing facilities concerning product and or field warranty issues. Facilitate efficient close of issues.•Preparation of weekly reports and documentation supporting store visits, store issues, and other field intelligence as required. Demonstrate initiative and ownership over sales reports, helping to ensure proper inventory levels and to understand flow of business.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 0-2 years of account development and/or management, retail merchandising and/or exposure to conducting training activities.
- Some Saturdays required
