Classification: Financial Analyst-Manager
Compensation: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
Michael Goehring (firstname.lastname@example.org) with Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis to work for a well respected Sacramento Area company. This position will be a critical role for the Finance Department and will oversee all internal and external financial & regulatory reporting for multiple entities. This is a highly visible position that will interface with executive management to provide operational analysis, key financial metrics, develop budgets, conduct benchmark analysis, creation of business plans and support critical business operating decisions. Additionally, Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis will be responsible for a variety of items including, but not limited to the following:
~ Financial & operational analysis of various data to support management in making key business decisions
~ Lead the development of financial models to perform scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis.
~ Provide trend analysis and identify operational opportunities and/or improvements
~ Perform variance analysis of financial reports as well as investigate & explain any key areas of concern
~ Support department with month-end close and preparation of the monthly financial statements
~ Perform various ad hoc duties as given by management
Requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst position include:
~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
~ CPA and/or MBA required
~ 6+ years of related experience (i.e. budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, etc.)
~ Must be very proficient with MS Excel (i.e. v-lookups, pivot tables, macros)
~ Excellent communication skills and the ability to present analysis results/reports to management
~ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
