Position Summary:
This role is for a business development oriented individual capable of working in a team environment to build our energy practice. The candidate will have a minimum of seven-years of experience serving the energy sector and possess solid technical, organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven capability to develop, nurture and maintain client relationships is a must. The ability to manage multiple projects and team members is critical to the success of this role. This role is for you if you can:
- Network and develop new relationships.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work closely with partners and others to develop a full-service energy practice.
- Actively manage work-in process and accounts receivable.
- Provide solid tax compliance and innovative tax planning strategies to clients.
- Review ASC 740 calculations.
- Develop, mentor and manage client service staff.
- Envision the potential of a fast growing office.

To be considered for this position, a candidate must:
- Be a CPA.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting. An MST is a plus.
- Have at least 7 years’ experience in public accounting; strong preference for Big 4 or large regional firm experience.
- Possess advanced income tax accounting knowledge.
- Be able to function in a fast-paced and interactive team environment.
- Have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Possess a desire to succeed and build something of value.
