Program/Project Director ERP Implementations-DIRECT HIRE-FTE

Compensation: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year

One of our best clients has an immediate need for an Program/Project Director-ERP Implementations. They will be focused on the execution of multi-generational plan to standardize business processes and implement the global ERP system. This role will be focused on bringing standardization across the enterprise with the support and vision of the IT and Operation Excellence Teams. Responsibilities: Lead a global ERP implementation program consisting of multiple projects to transform the enterprise from 11 ERP disjointed systems down to a single standardized model. Primary duties include the successful management of program scope, cost, schedule, resources and deliverables. This must be accomplished through the application of appropriate project management techniques including project tracking, change control, risk and issue management, and regulatory requirements. Perform a study of ERP requirements at key facilities and lead the selection process of an ERP solution for the Company. Develop a program of ERP replacements and upgrades at successive groups of manufacturing plants, including business process mapping, definition of new processes and implement a transition plan and change management program for impacted employees with associated training and development. Develop a multi-year implementation plan, budgets, resource requirements, quantified benefits and governance process, including key tracking metrics and cost controls. Create project schedules, summaries, risk assessments and other required documentation to provide efficient and seamless execution against prioritized initiatives. Coordinate the implementation of ERP programs with facility lean transformation programs. Communicate with and deliver audience appropriate updates at all levels of the organization from executive sponsors to front line personnel. Build cohesive project teams within a matrix organization. Coordinate several internal and external teams to successfully implement ERP. Assess risk on multiple dimensions, including project risk, customer impact risk, reputation risk, organizational, regulatory and change management risk. Analyze project related information and make recommendations based on findings. Monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly to ensure deadlines and budgetary numbers are met.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 10+ years in a program and large project management role with proven abilities in: Deploying ERP systems across global enterprises with multiple projects concurrently utilizing a disciplined approach to produce high quality deliverables. Building Best in Class business processes and applications. Standardization of business processes and data across the enterprise. Organizational change management to reduce disruption in systems and people. Experience in the implementation of Tier 1 systems preferred (SAP, Oracle, AX, etc.). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate at both the technical and business levels. Self-starter with the ability to achieve goals through the effective utilization of resources and the deployment of staff. Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive decision making to complete projects on time, within scope and budget. Conflict resolution, interpersonal and communication skills in a matrix organization. Highly skilled at issue and risk management and mitigation. Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work in order to support concurrent projects. Education and Certification Bachelor's Degree Required in Information Systems or Business, Masters preferred. PMP Certification is a plus. This is a full time role based in Columbus, Ohio.
