Regional Sales Manager (LatAm Healthcare)
Responsibilities: Our Client is South Miami, Florida (FL) is seeking a Sales Manager who would manage the Agent distribution used by the company in their assigned countries, and is accountable for the volume and quality of new business sold in their market. The sales executive is also pivotal in providing market feedback and assisting in the overall sales strategy in the market.
Accountabilities & Activities:
- Establishes monthly and quarterly goals and plan of action to meet yearly new business AOP sales targets for assigned region
- Meets yearly sales targets for retention of existing business in Latin America & the Caribbean against Annual Operating Plan
- Identifies recruits and develops new Producers in assigned market, building Agent base to meet yearly sales goals and increase market share
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing agents to increase their productivity, stay informed of competition, market changes and any other factor that could affect the company
- Measures Agent's production and communicates information to the Agent force
- Trains Agents on company, products and services, in order to increase their knowledge and facilitate sales
- Responsible and accountable for managing the travel budget and expenditures related to assigned countries
- Contributes and assist with marketing ideas and promotions, based on analysis of sales data and trends
- Act as liaison between the market and the company, relaying any service issues or important feedback to the appropriate managers of the company
- Performs other functions as assigned
The ideal Healthcare Sales Manager will possess the following:
- 4 Year college degree and significant relevant sales experience
- Minimum 3-5 years experience, with at least 3 years experience in the Latin American and Caribbean markets; 1-2 years experience of insurance or re-insurance market
- Experience with sales presentations tailored to the socio-political climate of the Latin America and Caribbean markets
- Previous experience 1-2 years with intermediaries or third party distribution channels is preferred; knowledge of competitor products and market is desirable
- Bilingual in English and Spanish compose correspondence and presentations effectively in both languages
