Hotel Sales - Director - Regional Accounts - West Coast
The Director of Regional Accounts manages existing accounts and develops new group accounts. This position is based in the San Jose or San Francisco area.
•Solicits and procures corporate, association, and incentive accounts in accordance with established marketing profiles and departmental policies and procedures
•Executes pre-qualification and rate negotiations, establishes files, issues contracts, processes bookings and appropriate follow-up correspondence with clients, maintains frequent contact with established and prospective clients, represents company at trade shows, presentations, client events, sales calls, etc
•Assists in creating programs to improve room sales and target soft and off-peak periods
•This position works remotely, but will be required to be on site to meet with clients.
•Conduct site inspections or attend meetings as needed, and may be asked to perform other duties and responsibilities by the Senior Vice President of Hotel Sales.
•Must have good social skills and be active in industry events and professional organizations.
•Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred.
•Minimum 10 years in a management position in hotel sales, proficient in Delphi software, Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
•Must be 21 years of age or older.
